A sectional door opener is designed for sectional panel doors that open overhead in horizontal sections. A roller door opener is used for doors that roll up into a coil above the opening. The SD1000 is compatible with residential sectional doors only, up to 15 square metres in area. Coast to Valley also supplies and installs the RD1000 roller door opener for roller door applications.
The SD1000 Std comes standard with a belt drive system for quieter, smoother operation. A chain drive option is also available. Belt drive is recommended for homes where the garage shares a wall with a bedroom or living area, as it significantly reduces noise and vibration.
The SD1000 supports residential sectional doors up to 15 square metres in area, 150kg in weight, and 3.5 metres in height. Peak pulling force is 1000N. If your door falls outside these limits, contact Coast to Valley Garage Doors to discuss suitable alternatives.
Yes. The SD1000 is compatible with the optional F-linX Wi-Fi system, which allows you to control your door from anywhere using a smartphone app. You can open, close, check status, and monitor what percentage the door is open, all remotely.
The SD1000 includes a manual release lever that allows you to disengage the motor and open the door by hand during a power failure. For automatic operation without power, an optional Battery Backup add-on is available and can be included at the time of installation.
